 Sylvette and Gérard welcome you on their 60-acre domain in the heart of the "garrigue ardèchoise", only 8 kilometers from the famous Gorges de l'Ardèche in 4 guest rooms , each of them with central heating and a fully equipped bathroom. The ancestral farm, fully restored to modern comfort, has been home to the Mialon family for a century. For your convenience, smoking is not allowed in the rooms. If you wish it, you can have dinner with your hosts at the family table where Sylvette will treat you to hearty regional cooking for 4 persons minimum (except Sunday evening). Dinner price : - for adults, 26 Euro with wine and coffee included. - for children under 12 (same menu as adults), 15 Euro. Sorry, we don't accept pets. 2012 : Room price per night with breakfast :
The arrivals are permitted after 4pm and rooms must be vacated by 10am on departure day. - It is possible to make reservations for a boattrip on the river Ardèche by canoe or kayak: the boatowner comes to pick you at your room around 9 a.m. and brings you back between 5 and 7 p.m., after you finished the trip (about 30 km) MANIFESTATIONS AT THE VILLAGE : *** Various events during the weekend of July and August by the organized village associations - To visit *** Museum of lavender : open from the beginning of May till the end of October. *** Ardèche Lamas : llamafarm *** Cave Of Madeleine *** House of Réserve Naturelle des Gorges de l'Ardèche *** Aven-Grotte Marzal and museum of prehistory (walk among dinosaurs in true size) *** La Ferme aux Crocodiles : a memorable visit for all ages less than 20 minutes from home - Wines ***Our village is situated in the deep south of the Ardèche, on a limestone plateau with an altitude of 365 m above seelevel. Its geographic location and 285 sunny days each year (official 2001) allow the cultivation vinyeards that result in the production of quality wines at affordable prices (AOC Côtes du Vivarais and Côteaux de l'Ardèche). *** To the Private winegrowers (Domaine du Belvezet, Domaine de La Boisserelle , Clos de l'Abbé Dubois) as well as the village cooperative "Les Chais du Vivarais" it will be a pleasure to let you taste their products. *** 16 Kilometers further, on a very pretty and small road, don't forget to stop and taste the wine from Mas d'Intras.
